“A Day of Music and Stories” — Lily Jean Benefit Concert to Support Families of the F/V Lily Jean
May 17, 2026 | 12PM-9PM | The Cut, Gloucester, MA
Gloucester, MA — In response to the recent loss of the F/V Lily Jean and her crew, The Cut will host the Lily Jean Benefit Concert: “A Day of Music and Stories” on Sunday, May 17, 2026 from 12pm to 9pm. This full-day festival of live music, storytelling, and community remembrance will honor the lives of the crew and raise funds to directly support the families left behind.
One hundred percent of funds raised through sponsorships, ticket sales, the silent auction, and raffle donations will be distributed to the Lily Jean Fund, administered by the Gloucester Fishing Community Preservation Fund (GFCPF), a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

Gloucester’s fishing community is the heart of the city. The Lily Jean Benefit Concert is an opportunity for local businesses, organizations, and residents to turn grief into tangible support and demonstrate solidarity with the families who now face urgent emotional and financial needs.
Sponsorship and donation opportunities
A limited number of sponsorship packages are available, from Harbor Supporter to Captain/Presenting Sponsor, each offering varying levels of recognition and hospitality. In-kind donations for the silent auction and raffle (gift cards, services, products, experiences, artwork) are also requested. All sponsorships and donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
