About Us

Worship Sunday at 10 AM (9 AM July-through Labor Day). All are welcome to join us on the harbor for a music filled worship led by Dr. Herman Weiss. Our church building is located on the picturesque Manchester by the Sea Town Green. It is a lovely place to worship or to hold a wedding. We also have a newly restored event hall located within walking distance of the church. Our hall was renovated in 2021 and has wooden floors and a historic restored tin ceiling. Onsite parking and a sound system are also available.
Our present church building is 4th in a series of meeting houses, completed in 1809 for $8500. The townspeople rallied around to help build it in the fashion of an old barn-raising. The building was then jointly owned by the proprietors and the town. In 1844, members of the parish scraped together $3000 to purchase it. The Steeple holds a working Bell & Clock which ring on the hour and a Carillon which can be heard several times a day.
