-Italian Wine Ambassador & IWS (Italian Wine Scholar), Director of Wines, Horizon Beverage Company, Ciro Pirone to present a wine tasting semianar of Tuscany, Italy...its renowned wines & foods, its singular geographic areas, spirited culture and traditions. It's the opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of Tuscany's cultural heritage, through its wine. Ciro will focus on the major, celebrated Sangiovese grape of Tuscany the centerpiece of the region's great wines ...Chianti Classico, Montalcino, Montepulciano while demistyfying the Super Tuscans wines, so loved but still so misunderstood. The very special occasion to become a Tuscany expert and a more educated wine buyer of Tuscan wines as well as wines in general.
-Ciro's seminar will include take-home materials to continue the learning experience with maps/facts, information about Tuscany and specifically the wines and areas covered in the seminar
-Altogether 9 wines (Chianti Classico, Montalcino, Montepulciano Super Tuscans) will be tasted designed to gain an understanding of the variety of different Sangiovese grapes from different terroir including a flight of very different SuperTuscans (Merlot, Cabernet, and Sangiovese based.
-Accompanying the tasting will be Savour's specialty appetizers... cheeses, charcuterie and condiments
-Seminar's all inclusive fee is $50 per person AND save 10% on all featured wines.
