Description
The 34th Annual Gloucester Schooner Festival takes place on Labor Day weekend. It’s Gloucester’s major marine event, with participating schooners ranging from 19 feet to over 125 feet in length. The Mayor’s Race is the signature event of the Schooner Festival and takes place on Sunday, and is preceded by a parade of schooners that can be viewed from the Boulevard. The Festival also offers shoreside events including Maritime Heritage Day and a Concert on the Boulevard, both on Saturday. For more information please contact Maritime Gloucester at 978-281-0470.
