Gloucester MA— From the Archives, an exhibition of early work by Gloucester artist, Ed Touchette, opens July 11 and will be on display until July 28 at the Studio Gallery of the Cultural Center on Rocky Neck. The public is invited to the Opening Reception on Thursday, July 11 from 5:00 to 7:30 PM.
Ed Touchette has lived and worked as a fine artist in Gloucester since 1974 and has received numerous awards and solo exhibitions. His work is in the permanent collection of the Cape Ann Museum, Gloucester's Trident Gallery, Gorton's of Gloucester, Bank Boston and many other corporate and private collections. He received a Bachelor of Architecture from Rensselear Polytechnic Institute and continued his education with Gloucester artist Zygmond Jankowski.
From the Archives features Touchette's distinctive drawings, watercolors, and oils on canvas from 1974-2010 (some never before exhibited). All artwork will be for sale.
