Author and illustrator Janice Petrie will be John Ronan's guest on "The Writer's Block," presented by 1623 Studios, on October 17th. In the course of the interview, Ronan discusses her latest book, Bay State Skye, which is set right here in Gloucester and Cape Ann, and learns of the unique connection Petrie has to Gloucester's seafood industry which piqued her interest to write the book. Ronan also briefly discusses Petrie's other 4 books, finding that he had an experience just that morning at the beach that was closely related to the subject matter in one of Petrie's stories.
