DESCRIPTION:The Trident Live Art Series is pleased to present me is you (the space between us and them)\, an installation and dance performance on Saturday\, March 19\, at 7:30pm.\nDoors will open at 7:30pm\, when guests may explore an interactive installation in the Vault Room by Alexander Davis. The related dance performance will begin at 8:00pm and last 20–30 minutes. Afterward\, guests are invited to remain for light refreshments and informal conversation.\nArtist Irene Hsi's performance piece is an exploration of performance as empathetic exchange. In the dance\, four people perform one person's bodily commentary on a transformative past experience.\nChoreographer: Irene Hsi\nDancers: Leslie Armstrong\, Stephanie Bellissimo\, Irene Hsi\, and Paul Laurey.\nSound Design: Kevin Laba\nCostume Design: Irene Hsi\nTrident Gallery will close at 5:00pm to prepare for the performance.\nIrene Hsi is a performer and dance-maker whose work explores the body as commentator. She has taught\, performed\, and shown work in CA\, NYC\, and MA.\nKevin Laba is a composer\, sound designer\, producer of music for visual media\, music copyist\, and audio engineer\; as a singer and instrumentalist\, he records and performs under the moniker Navigant.\nAlexander Davis is a Boston based dancer\, choreographer\, writer\, comedian\, actor\, educator\, and fiber artist.\nAbout Live Art Series Performances\nA $10 suggested donation compensates the artists.\nExact seating capacity is not known until the time of performance. A conservative\, fixed number of seats are designated for reservations. Unreserved seating\, floor seating\, or standing room is almost always available\, so walk-ins are welcome.
