DESCRIPTION:Formed at Oberlin University in 2006\, the Jasper Quartet has had tremendous success at several of the most prestigious competitions\, including the Coleman and Fischoff competitions\, and in 2012 won the Cleveland Quartet Award. It has been hailed as ''sonically delightful and expressively compelling'' (The Strad) and as "powerful" (The New York Times). The members are currently the Professional Quartet-in-Residence at Temple University's Center for Gifted Young Musicians.
