DESCRIPTION:CAM Green\, 13 Poplar Street\, Gloucester\, MA \n\nFree and open to the public \n\n\n\nArtist\, designer\, and professor in the practice of design at Olin College of Engineering\, Tim Ferguson Sauder\, will discuss his project\, Americans Flags. The work explores our American identity through the creation of flags built using marks collected from the different people and places that make up our country. \n\n\n\nIn a country where political discourse is growing ever more polarized\, this project encourages discussion about\, awareness of and empathy for the many different people that make up our great nation. This work celebrates those differences and what they bring to America through a series of American flags built from marks left by these different people.  \n\n\n\nRegister for the talk to hear about how the concept developed\, how the flags were created\, and what brought them to the Cape Ann Museum.
